Every now and again you come across a photo on Flickr that just takes your breath away ...

This is a pretty boring map (provided by NOAA - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) - too bad it didn't have more of the pretty colours in the key instead of just all being one color of red ...

Was going through CDs looking for some old scans and came across this classic when my brother Jeff and I had ordered a pepperoni and beef pizza at Pizza Hut. It came with just pepperoni, so we asked if they could remake it. The waiter replied friendly that of course they could and wisked off with our pie - only to return roughly two minutes later with quite obviously the exact same pizza after having tossed what seemed an awfully gross amount of hamburger on top.

We got quite a kick out of this and apparently Jeff - with camera in hand (not sure why he had brought it into the restaurant but it did come in handy) - opted to record this for history's sake.

Ah, good times.

Came across this article poking fun at online photography criticism by using historically famous photographer's images and posting a typical "critique" commonly found on the internet (such as, um, Flickr).

My favourite comment below was what someone said about the humor with "thanks for making my day 3 f-stops brighter."

Priceless.
