I felt I needed to get back into the swing of things and do my American duty by blogging something - anything, so here goes -

I was browsing through past issues of Details magazine looking for, um - haircut ideas - and found their annual article about the "Top 50" most powerful men. I'm doing this from memory at the moment, but somewhere in that list were Chad Hurley and Steve Chen (duh, founders of YouTube, the thoroughly cheesy but über-successful video-sharing site I compare to Flickr for video people but with a lot less polish than Flickr) who were quoted as saying something like "we'll never sell blah blah blah."

Guess 1.65 billion clams speaks louder than ideals. Not that I can blame them.
